Well, our school does too. They compute the numbers into letter grades, though.
90-100 = A
80-89 = B
70-79 = C
60-69 = D
0-59 = F

Money: 43,872 Points: 51,416, Level: 55 | | Re: Grades Grade boundaries vary a lot in England, it varies from subject to subject and it depends which exam board you are with. For example for some of my subjects I'm with Edexcel, others I'm with AQA and I'm with OCR for at least one. It also depends on whether you take higher or foundation. For example if you take a higher paper you can get upto an A* whereas if you take a foundation the highest you can get is a C. In lots of higher papers you only need around 30-40% to get a C but in foundation you would need like 85%. |
