Women's Rights
Hey all,
I am in a bit of a bind with a school essay I need to write for tomorrow. As the title suggests, the essay is on women's rights during the Industrial Revolution in Europe. Here is the prompt:
"Was is a positive/negative for society that women were starting to acquire more rights?"
I definitely think it was positive, but I cannot for the life of me come up with a good argument as to why. I am familiar with the Industrial Revolution (I am obviously studying it right now) but my book has no real information I can use.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? (I am NOT asking for you to write my paper; I need a little push in the right direction).
