Be careful how much money is influencing you as far as the army is concerned. A job as intense as that should have a good pay at 16-17 as the last of your thoughts. Don't forget you're becoming a tool of the government by joining the army, you'll be going to a warzone whether you agreed with the war or not. College sounds good, but if it's just a backup plan it might not be right for you. Police sounds good, certainly it's the most useful to society at large. | |

A load of my dad's mates are ex-army. Apparently the police will take you at the drop of a hat if your ex-army, so I thought maybe do army and if I like it, afterwards then join the police.
