Major League Baseball

If anyone wants to have an in depth discussion on almost any aspect of Major League Baseball I'm open to it.

A little about me in terms of the baseball - I'm a huge Tampa Bay Rays fan, and a huge baseball ((sports)) fan in general.

I aspire to take Corey Schwartz's job as director of stats at MLB.com, or Andrew Friedman's job as Rays GM. I'm finishing my sophmore year of high school now, and there is a chance I go into Sports Management / Communications as my majors.

I like to think I know alot about the current game and what has been going on the past 3 years ((3 years ago is when I stopped becoming a fan and started to try and become an analyst)). I am a little cocky but am not opposed to a good discussion, so if you have any thoughts then please go ahead and fire.

Re: Major League Baseball

=p well thanks for the support. I'm sure I can pull some strings =p

I wouldn't mind the Braves winning one bit, probably my 3rd favorite team. I just hope all this media attention doesn't go to their heads =p

Re: Major League Baseball

What sucks is, Andruw Jones got INJURED, and had a bad offense last year. THING IS, he was INJURED, sure he batted .222, but he STILL had 25 home runs whilst INJURED. And besides, it's just one bad year, and they throw him away. He's given them tons of good years. He's been my favorite player since I was a little kid. Really sucks.

Now, though, my favorite player (not all time, just on the braves) is Mark Texiera
And My Favorite Pitcher is Tim Hudson

But yeah I'm only 14 but I'm gonna try to be MLB One day I'm already pretty dang good, made state all stars a couple times.

So make sure, it'll be a long time from now, but make sure you live your life as a TB Manager and draft me

w00t w00t..

Re: Major League Baseball

well with Jones, I heard rumors he didn't want to be there any more, and I don't blame him. When you're as good as the Braves were for so long and you're still in the bottom third of attendance numbers then its pretty ridiculous. That being said, I like Mark Kotsay there and they did save themselves some money in the process. To bad about Jordan Schafer getting caught for HGH in the minors and now hes out 50 games, impeding his development.

I like Rafael Soriano and Chuck James as my favorite from the pitching staff, and my favorite hitters are Mark Teixera and Mark Kotsay. =p, like I said before I'll do my best.

Re: Major League Baseball

Haha, nice. But nah, Andruw wanted to stay in Atlanta. Scot Boras is just an idiot and tried to force the braves to pay 18mil a year.

Re: Major League Baseball

I wish he had stayed in Atlanta. He ain't doin' crap for the Dodgers. BTW, as you can prob. tell by my username and my avatar, I am a profound Dodgers fan. Baseball is one of my few passions along with music, and I can tell you anything you want to know about the current Dodgers.
