Ever Noticed?

Has anyone ever noticed that the Darker, not by race, but by clothing, looks, etc. More along the Goth, but no all the way there type of people happen to be SMARTER that most other people?

Just wondering if anyone has noticed, because I'm one of those types of people, and I do hang out with people like me and normal people, considering the differences, and the people like me are normally smarter.

I have an IQ of 160, my 2 best friends, one girl and one guy, both have 145+, and I scored extremely high on my SAT's at age 14. Then got a 32 on ACT's recently, at age 15.

Anyone noticed this?

So you're saying that people who wear dark colored clothes, like gothic style tend to be more smarter?

If i'm right then I don't know about that. Must be just a coincidence on your part. Clothing is just clothing.

A bit, I suppose. It may be just part of my personality and who I tend to hang out with, but that's just one thing I've noticed in the 3 schools I've gone to in the past 3 years.

Because you know, with like the Metal and Hardcore scene, most people wear black, and I couldn't really say that most of em are smarter than other people.

Maybe it isn't that you hang out with them because they are dark, but you hang out with them because they are smart and you all happen to be dark? O.o

I see all kinds of intelligent people everywhere. In Cali I see most of the intelligence centered in the preps. Not like one or two smart people, you can find that number in almost any group of ten, but like a 2/3 majority of people stacking APs and scoring at least 2000s on SAT. Next are the athletes and band geeks on equal footing, although I know that the XC team is a bunch of retards when we're all hanging out XD.

In general, no I don't see this but I do see a lot of these people finding themselves to be really deep.

In England the only reason alternatives/goths are smarter is because everyone else is a fucktard chav who doesnt try to learn.

If you are so smart, how did you even come into this conclusion? I don't have an IQ of 160, but I have enough common sense to know your logic was flawed.

Though now that you've mentioned it, the smartest kids I know happen to be preppy.

No, I understand that, I am sorry if I didn't make it clear enough. I know most of the time they are no smarter than anybody else (quite far behind some others I'd say) but will act superior because they think themselves to be.

Exactly! That makes more sense to me logically; the smarter you are, the more productive you are, and thus the more involved in school, extracurriculars, sports, etc... because you want to enrich yourself and tambien you want to get into a good college.

But then there are nerds, who aren't as involved, but are as smart in the classroom as preps, and also want to get into good colleges...

And the irresponsible smart people who go out and get stoned XDDD who are probably going to end up in a good college anyway.
