The Official Premier League Thread
Every forum wouldn't be a forum without one!
For all 'soccer' fans (XD) who follow the English Premier League, talk about your team, the players and managers and transfer talk here.
This season is over, and Man U have the title.
I'm an Arsenal supporter.
What about you guys?

Re: The Official Premier League Thread
I support Arsenal as well
Decent season in view of what was predicted, but I wish we wouldn't always throw it away in February, which happens most years.
We need more depth in the squad, and I think Wenger has to buy some proven quality instead of more potentially talented youngsters. I know they usually turn out fine, but we need quality now.
Oh and we have to get rid of Eboue. And Senderos. NOW

Re: The Official Premier League Thread
Wigan fan myself, watched united pick up the trophy yesterday afternoon, got offered £400 for my ticket for the match and all, didn't even pay that much for it all season haha (have a season ticket) never mind one match, rather go watch my team though. Going to have to find something to do with my weekends until next season now!

Re: The Official Premier League Thread
Oh wow, found 2 more Arsenal supporters already...as they say here, 'sweet'! hehe.
Yeah, it's just a shame, we were 1st from August 2007 until March 2008, it's what happened to Eduardo that made us flop.
We just have bad luck.
Oh, and we need a new goalkeeper. Almunia doesn't cut it and Fabianski is crap, sorry. After all, Lehmann's gone now.
+ Adebayor rules.

Re: The Official Premier League Thread
Yeah a new keeper would be good
Adebayor is good but we need another striker while Eduardo is injured.
Bendtner is OK, but we need someone better.

Re: The Official Premier League Thread
The Premiership.
Sums up everything wrong with the game of football nowadays. While my clubs aim (Leeds) is to get back there as soon as possible, I can't say I've missed the PL.
Being dictacted by Sky (Scum) Sports. Players on £130,000 per week. More foriegners than Brits in the squads, players who are just there for the paypacket and put money before football. It stinks does the PL. At least at the levels we've experienced over the past few years there has been a refreshing amount of honest. Something the Premiership could never conjur up.
