I have't heard much talk about Sedna, I don't think its officially labled as a planet yet. Such could take years of argument and bickering. Pluto, however, is no longer considerd a planet.

Which in my opinion is pretty stupid...they have been calling it a planet since it was first discovered and now all of a sudden they are deciding not to call it one.

The theory behind Pluto is, put simply, that its a big rock that fell into the Sun's gravitational feild. Look at the astroid belt. We can't consider all of them planets, can we?
