That Sinking Feeling

So, I just had a philosophy and ethics exam. We were told that there would be a question on every topic from the two year [A Level] course, and which questions would be coupled together [for example, option one was either a question on religious experience or religious language] so that we could pick three topics to revise and therefore maximise our chances of achieving top marks. But when I opened the booklet there was no question on the moral argument, one of the three topics I had spent more than 20 hours writing notes for - one of the topics I've practically memorised all of the most important facts/scholars/quotes for. Has this ever happened to anyone else? I can't believe this. I'll need about 90% in my last philosophy exam to have any hope of getting into my first choice university. I wouldn't mind if it had been a hard question, but there simply wasn't one - three other people had the same problem. One even walked out. I don't even know why I'm posting this, actually. Misery loves company, I guess.

Re: That Sinking Feeling

It wasn't philosophy but I spent 3 or 4 hours studying for a spanish exam, only to to find on the test that the words I studied weren't even on there. It was our final too so I was pretty pissed off. I still got a 91 on it though.
