Royal Marines Commando's
Hi everyone, Im here to see if anyone is persueing a career in the Royal Marines or any part of the armed forces.
If anyone is joining the Royals ask me anything from fitness to the selection process to recruit training.
Or just ask me, i have a wide knowledge or the corp history and the selection process.
Or just post here and talk about the Marines.

I cant wait to join. Im joining the US Marines though not the Royal Marines. Why wont this boring process they call high school end so i can go to boot camp already? lol.

No, But they can join the royal marines Band service but they do not go to the front lines. Girls can join the US Marines though.

Royal marines arent deployed in iraq.
At the moment they are deployed in sierra leone, Kosovo and afghanistan.

How Quick do you have to do your pjft? is it under 14 minutes like the army.

If you don't like battlefield deployments and still want to go military, you can aim for military 'foreign affairs'. Although for the latter, you'd need a lot more than physical fitness.
