i just think it is because there is not much going on in australian football AFL they make the game flow so more teams score goals to keep it exciting

Football is NOT a girly sport. It is the world game! Here in Australia the A-League has really begun to bring in support and knowledge for the game which is really exciting! Since I live in Sydney I naturally go for Sydney FC. Of course they have a core group of fans called "The Cove" who are basically middle aged men and pre pubescent boys who all get ridiculously pissed and chuck beer everywhere. But now there is a break away support group. "The Sin City Crew" also known as "The SCC" are the most awesome bunch of guys and girls who get together and go nuts for a full 90 minutes. Unfortunately they've been getting bad press and therefore the police and stupid security guards are now giving them grief. Apparently they've been involved in riots and flares chucked and brawls but it's all bullshit. My dad and my brother are both a part of The SCC and they go to every game they can. Especially Melbourne games. They even fly down to Melbourne (since they are our sworn enemy).
Anyway I've grown up with my Dad and my older brother both being obsessed with the sport so now I'm pretty in to it although compared to them I'm a novice. I have been playing for 5 years now though and don't look like stopping any time soon. It's a great team sport and it definitely brings people together so they work co operatively.
