Why do so many people bash soccer?
I would like to hear everyones opinion about soccer, Im tired of people calling it a girl sport and not having anything to back it up. And those who agree with me that soccer is definitely NOT a girly sport please voice your opinions too.

Its rough on your body for sure. Dang shin splints, was too lazy in off season got them and a bruised heel and Achilles problems. haha.

i agree it is a very international sport, people bash it because most of them aren't willing to give it a shot. Not to mention places like North America, its not as big, mostly into the hockey, and football(3/4 downs 100/110 yard field) so give it time people will get it eventually

You're in America. In Italy, it's taken as seriously as American Football. My friend got so angry over Italy losing a few weeks ago, he took a picture of the Spanish team, and plastered it on his Cell phone with the words "Fuck you! Spain sucks!" as the caption.
So travel to Italy, or the UK for some serious soccer fans, although it's not called soccer over there.
Oh, and I've played soccer since I was 5. Awesome sport.

Ya I know how serious they are in Europe. Ive been to Germany. Once my friends dad told me he was in Amsterdam and there were to guys sitting at a table watching a game, he said they were so mad when the other team scored he thought the table was going to fly across the room.
