Money: -239 | SAT or ACT Hiya Guys ! Has anyone here taken either of those college entrance tests? If yes what is your score? The SAT more like using your critical thinking abilities to find out solution to tricky problems. The ACT is good for you if you have been a good student throughout high school, since many of the questions are from material you cover in your classes. I am Going to Take the SAT this Month on 29th . Thanks |

Money: 5,468 Points: 10,848, Level: 24 | | Re: SAT or ACT I've taken both twice. For me, the ACT was easier without a doubt. I got an 1860 on the SAT the secind time and a 32 on the ACT the second time. The math section was my worst score on both tests.
Good luck with your test!

A lot of colleges look at mostly the math and critical reading sections of the SAT.
[Edit] A lot of technical colleges look at the math and critical reading sections...if you're looking into going for more of a writing or english background, they'll definitely look at the writing section.

Money: -281 | Re: SAT or ACT Only thing i've taken was the ACT as a freshman...got a 28. Hopefully I can bring it up after I learn some of the math...but the science part destroyed me. I'm pretty good at English/Reading comprehension...that sort of stuff. |

In reverse most colleges don't require ACT scores, just SAT.
SAT is extremely important in your acceptance, if I were you I would stress over SAT's more than the ACT's :-) |

I scored a 30/36.
It was all pretty easy. You could pretty much knock the answers down to two. Then it was a 50% chance that you got it right.
