I really like older/classic-ier literature! But somewhat recent books: Catcher in the Rye (not recent I know!) & Devil in the White City by Erik Larson.

Used to love the 'A Series of Unfortunate Events' series but haven't read them in a long time.

I absolutely hated that book. I understood the concept and everything but it was just so completely and utterly boring!
I didn't read it by choice though, it was required by my English Honors class...=/
