Money: -1,701 | I didn't know where to post this. So I have a job interview tomorrow at Walmart for a position as a cashier. I've had a job before, but it was at one of my dad's legal offices, so I wasn't interviewed. Any advice? |

luck x | I was told not to wear jeans. I dressed nicely, but everyone else in the interviewing waiting room was in jeans. I was just like "um.. even if I'm not on the list you called me, and not only did I arrive on time, I wore the appropriate attire, unlike everyone else in this room"
I didn't get the job at my friend's work because they're fully staffed, but Max (the manager.. I know everyone there,) told me they have a high turnover rate, so he'll call me when a pot opens up. |

I've been job hunting for 2 years, and still no job. I've applied to grocery stores, restaurants, libraries, retirement/nursing homes, etc. Mostly answer the ads they post on newspaper websites, where they say "e-mail resume" and "no phone calls, please." But I have 3 ROPs, which I mention on my resume, which is experience at computers, kitchens, and floral design.
Never had 1 job interview, so no failure stories yet.

Never had 1 job interview, so no failure stories yet. | that's weird. If you're over 16, you really shouldn't be having that much trouble. Your best bet is to go into places asking for an application and to schedule an interview. |
