Wow. I loved every bit of it. My friends and I sat and watched the whole thing, the whole 4 hours. We didn't leave the screen once!

Well I saw some of the erm countries entering the stadium and stuff but it was the last half an hour that was the best....
The fireworks omgosh! they were amazing! sooo many of them, can't imagine how much it would have costed..and the lighting of the torch was good too...the Chinese know how to put on a good show |

I personally think that Beijing's organization committee did such a fantastic job. Everything was organized, and oh my god the engineering was AMAZING. Best opening ceremony ever!

They spent millions of Yuans and rehearsed for over 11 months to get this 210 minutes in order. It has to be good. I liked the acrobatics the most, they almost walked on air if we look at this that way.

It was very good. So organized and well rehearsed. I liked the portion where the performers were in lime green bodysuits that lit up, that was very cool. The acrobatics were sweet too.

I thought it was absolutely amazing! The Chinese really put on a grand spectacle. I watched it all (although I only had the couple of hours where the countries were entering on in the background whilst I did other things) and I'm glad I did. I wouldn't even know where to begin on saying which was my favourite part.
Hopefully in 2012 we'll be able to follow suit ... I'm worried we'll embarrass ourselves.
Congrats to China.
