So I just randomly decided to watch the f8 event, which I seriously did not plan or intend to watch but because I've never watched f8 before I decided, "Meh, why not". And quite surprisingly, I actually liked some of the things they showed. Especially the new Timeline feature. Here's a video that pretty much sums what Timeline is, it pretty much is your new profile; plus some other funky stuff.

It's kinda cool but I'm kind of annoyed with Facebook continuing to change or "improve" an thing that's already good.

Say for example, you'd expect something to become a top story in your feed if it reached x amount comments or Likes. Well, I made a comment the other day, 1 Like, instant top story. Instant popularity with just 1 fucking like. I think they need to get that sorted out, or at list give an option to list JUST recent activity and not categorise it in Top stories, recent stories, etc. But I like the Ticker.

You will eventually, Facebook just update their shit slowly by regions I believe; not too sure, I just know not everyone gets it at the same time.

I'm not sure what's so special about timeline. It appears it just groups and lists stuff in chronological order.
