Yes, however to buy a iPhone without a data plan, your going to get charged the full $650 for the phone. Thats the primary reason my parents refuse to get me a iPhone.

I live outside of the U.S so yeah thses unlocked Iphones over here are fucking expensive.
These assholes over here used to have an unlimited data plan for around 60$....yeah fucking expensive but the funny thing is that they just removed it because obviously everyone was exceeding the data they expected. | |

This is one thing I don't understand about phone providers, they advertise "Free WiFi".. Obviously it's going to be free no matter what, they can't block access from it; and if they did, that' would make them major wankers. But getting an iPhone is the wrong call. If you're willing to get an expensive phone, go for something on the Android market. At least then you won't be tied down by Apples strict bullshit and you'll save money.
