does any1 else have a problem talking to other people on the phone? like when im actually around people im a pretty smooth talker but once u put me on a phone it's like i turn into porky pig i stutter, forget words and get all tounge tied. i an just wonderin if any1 else get this way or if any of u have any for me advice.

Phone conversations = awkward for me. I don't know why. I think a lot of people are just bad at talking on the phone. It's kinda weird because you can't see the person.
yes, it happens because you are not able to see the persons face expressions and reactions to what you say. You have to go on their tone of voice to know wether they agree, disagree, were offended by what you said, took it as a compliment ect ect. I think the majority of people get tongue tied on the phone...dont worry just use you smooth talking skills in person to make up for it.X

I find it hard too. I don't understand how people can talk on the phone for hours, I can never manage more than about 10/15 minutes... so I text or e-mail people instead. :]
I need to look at a person's face to talk to them lol i dont know why it just happens.
But yet i can text someone will full confidence .. maybe because you can see what you write before you send it. And when your face to face with someone you can tell when you can joke or not because of their facial expressions.
