Advice to all Teens
Hello,
I am writing this message to give you all this advice that many of you desperately need. Words were made for communication. Series of characters such as "str8ner" are not words. Talking like you're black "I din get wun tday" is allowed if you are black and SPEAKING, but no one seriously writes like that. I have nothing against "brb" "lol" "lmao". These mean something, and actually are commonplace. Incorporating numbers into that are not for 1337 is ridiculous. 1337 does not ridiculously shorten words, its a joke amongst geeks. So PLEASE, I IMPLORE YOU. Spell out your words. Write with conviction, not with a load of nonsense.

What makes you think a person that can't even be bothered to spell words properly because it "takes too much time" will read this topic before they post? I do agree though, it really does get on my tits when people typ lyk ths.

If you're going to be advising people about their grammar usage than you had better be sure that yours is perfect, which it's not. Also, I'm aware that mine isn't perfect, but I'm not the one who posted this thread.

he's not talking about perfect grammar, he is just saying he hates it when people throw numbers in the middle of words, to make it shorter. It doesn't really make sense.

Your again mistaken. He is talking about the SMS type writing style that people usually use so that it takes less time to write. He didn't complain about people's grammar or said write in perfect grammar or you are a fool or any such thing.
It sometimes become difficult to understand what the person is trying to write and figuring that out takes a long time which is annoying sometimes, specially in serious discussions.
