That said, I'd recommend the drums, just make sure you're prepared to put the effort in. It may not be terribly exiting at first, but if you stick at it you'll find playing drums (especially in a band) is far more fun than playing PS3. Plus this way you've learned a cool skill, as opposed to playing PS3 which doesn't really achieve you anything.
However, if you find the drums not to your liking you've wasted a lot of money, so you should make sure it is something you want.
