I was'nt sure exactly where to put this so I just put it in the advice section.
My girlfriend is a really good artist, at least I think so. She loves to draw and she doodles on almost anything. She had also done a few paintings, but she likes to draw mostly.
She has taught herself all her life, but she has also wanted actual lessons. She asked her parents a few times, but her mom thinks school is more important and she doesn't have time for it.
Once she figures out her schedule for the summer, I wanted to try and find a place where she could have some lessons, or something like that. Its something she really wants, but her parents don't seem to support it all that much.
If anyone has ideas about where to start, that would be awesome. It has to be local, and preferably not too expensive... I don't want something like for little kids, or just a general art class. Something that would help her and teach her, and that she would like. I'm guna try just searching something on google, but other then that I'm not sure what I could find. So any help is appreciated, thanks.

I think this is just a page of her doodles and different things she likes to draw.
This is a painting she did for a contest at school for the Human Rights Club. It was supposed to be a drawing or painting based on a social conflict or issue, something like Darfur was a popular topic.
