Well, sorry if this is long, but it's worth reading. I am going through something right now. Well, my dad just started a new job, and I'm afraid he's going to lose it, because before he got this job, he's been out of work for six-seven months. I am trying to be at peace with God, but I don't see any improvement. Also: I've been addicted to gay pornography for three years, and I'm still addicted, and I told my parents, in February, thinking I was going to quit it, but obviously, I didn't, and they don't know that I'm still doing it. I want to be free from this, but I don't know. Now, it's causing me depression, and I feel like God has left me, and I feel like if I give up on him, that my dad would lose his job because of me, so I don't know what to do.

watching gay porn isnt a bad thing, maybe your just curious, and the whole dad/god thing- shudnt be put together, your dad has the job just now, its in his hands on whether he wants to keep it or not depending on how much he wants it

Watching porn whether it be gay, straight or whatever is all part of growing up and curiosity.

If your mentality is that if gay pornography causes you depression, and you'd be willing to quit it, then if God is causing you depression, you should also leave it.

And if you feel your interest in gay pornography or interest in God is responsible for your Dad's likeliness of losing his job, you're completely out of context.

nd if you really wanna stop watchin porn and your religious and feel that God has left you... all i can say is pray about it...
ask for the strength to stop watching porn if you really want to stop...

Its not your fault you like gay porn. I know what it feels like to belive God is not with but he is. You may not belive me but i think its the truth, if gay porn turns you on theres nothing you can do but come in terms with it and accept it. Hang in there ok?
