Alright, this might be hard to explain, but here we go. I have a small...lump...a little bit behind my right ear that is like a perfect "o" shape, and it moves a little if i move it, and then goes back to where it was. I thought at first it might be just like a vein or something, but I don't have the same thing behind my left ear. Also, it kind of hurts every once in a while, like random on and off pains every few days. I thought it might be a small tumor, because it's been there for about 3 or 4 years but I'd prefer not to think like that. Anyone know what it could be? I told my mom (she's a nurse, so it's only logical i should ask her first) but she said not to worry. I think she might be a little annoyed because when i was younger, i was always paranoid about poisoning and all the lethal crap like that, so, I don't know. Ironically, I also have a doctor as my next door neighbor. Should I have it checked out?

my friend has something like that. turned out to be a harmless cyst. id get it checked just to be sure, but it should be nothing to worry about.

ive had something like this, but never connected it with cancer. i know exactly what you're talking about though, and its weird. but mine went away and i havent noticed anything since. needless to say, you should get it checked if you're scared.

I have it in the same spot as you do. Wouldn't worry about it unless you feel pain.

I had two similar little movable bumps removed. They were cysts, and are quite normal. Most people don't remove them unless they are in a highly visible spot.

I wouldn't be too concerned about it being cancer. Typically if a lump moves around it is not malignant. However the best thing to do is have your doctor check it.

i gots exactly the same, and a small one on my left ear...had it for years. just dont worry about it, i dont.
