Money: -16 | I always feel fat. I'm 5'10 and weigh 150.
(15yr)
I'm an avid figure skater, and my bmi last year said i didnt have enough fat on me.
but my thighs are squishy, and i just feel gross.
i have a flatish tummy,
but i am sooo embarrassed by my thighs and butt.
all the other skaters are shorter than me, and little sticks of people.
how do i stop feeling so huge around my friends?
im even too self concious to join the gymnastics team at school. |

Too be honest, that's a nice size.
Most people you may see are starving themselves to feel better about themselves.
Why not do as we wish and look at the people hurting themselves and laugh at the fact that they can't feel secure about their own body. The idea is just a part of a unequal society in the way the people overlook the real part of life.
Size shouldn't matter to the fact of your ability to do what you want.
Stop focusing on your size/weight and go for the gold. I know you can do it if you try. |

But look, you are NOT fat. really. dont resort to starving yourself either. that would make things VERY bad. you're healthy and shouldnt worry about it at all. look around. there are MUCH larger people out there.

If you can go to gym that's great (to work on the thighs). Basically lift small amount of weights and do more repetitions.
It won't make you bulky after 1-3 years and you will maintain a good toned body at the same time.
Also, make sure you balance your work out. For example if you work our your thighs from the back (curls), you have to work out the fron as well (knee raise or something).
FYI, for your age, height I think your are healthy . |

So i mean there isnt much more tone you can get. And a 150 for your hight isnt bad at all.

Money: 71 | Re: I always feel fat. ...are u guys dumb? 150 at 5'10 for a girl is not a good weight. preferably 100-130 so yea you probly need to lose a lil weight round the tummy and thighs... jsut bein real with you becase you see world class figure skater and their thighs arent enormous and they dont have a lil extra round the waist.
so yea shed some pounds
