Hi,
I just applied for a job at the body shop store, i really want this job!
I sent in my CV 3 days ago i haven't heard anything yet, just wanted to know if i should call them? If so what should i say? I'm not very good with phone calls and always bit nervous when it comes to new jobs.
Any advice would be great, thanks. |

Hmm.. 3 days?
Personally, i'd give it a little more time. If it gets to a week without hearing, go ahead and phone them, have nothing to lose, right? When/if you do call them just be polite and say something casual like "Oh, hello, I was just wondering about the job vancancy going, I applied for it a few days ago and I was just wondering if there's any news on whether it has been filled?" something like that maybe?
Everyone gets nervous, I know I do! Hope you do get the job!

Depends on how you sent it. If you mailed it three days ago I would definitely call them. When they answer the phone, just say, "I am John Smith, I sent my resume in for the job that you posted and I am really excited about the chances of getting the job." "Could I please come in and discuss it with you?" | |
