Wedding

Okay, Amber (my fiance) and I can't decide where we want the wedding, we have narrowed it down to two places - Cinnamon Bay, US Virgin Islands (I have a house there) or Paris. Wherever we dont get married we are going to have our honeymoon there (for instance, if we have our wedding in Paris, we will have our honeymoon in Cinnimon Bay.) We have been fighting over this ever since we started naming locations (about 3 months now, we are getting married in a year)and I am tired of it, I just want to know which one you guys think would be better. Please help, Thank you.

those sound like awesome places. your wedding is gonna be wonderful no matter where you decide.

the only problem with having a wedding too far away is that it may be hard for some of your guests to attend.

i agree with SuperXEmoNinja, paris would be breathtaking for a honeymoon

Maybe you should have your wedding at Cinnimon Bay then

Well, normally engagements are long because 1. weddings take a long time to plan, 2. so people have time to rearrange their schedule if needed, and a lot of other reasons.

Oh, nevermind then. But we will be paying for everyone who wants to come, The plane ride there and back home but they have to bring their own spending money (On exception of My Mom and Her Dad, since they are paying for the wedding and the rehersal dinner, We pay for them, EVERYTHING)

Yeah I have to agree with the whole distance thing. A lot of times, overseas weddings have very few guests, simply because of schedule conflicts, pre-arranged appointments, can't afford it because of whatever reason.. I think that something as memorable as Paris should be like.. your special place. Not something that you want to remember as where your mom danced on the table like an idiot lol. I think you should have your wedding in Cinnamon Bay, just so more friends and family can make it, and it's not such a long trip. Think about grandparents and whatnot. I don't think Grandma will want to sit on a plane for 10 hours, do you? And worrying about baggage, checking into the hotel, taxi rides, all that. Let alone everything is in French. And some people just don't want to travel. But really, it's up to you. Where are you going to be happiest getting married? Close to home, or far away? You can go to Cinnamon Bay any time, but Paris? Wow. Keep Paris special for the two of you, take your honeymoon there. You can do so much more when there's just 2 of you, instead of 20.

I'm surprised you're the only one that said that. My dad was a pro baseball player for six years and an Army pilot.

I am flying her dad, my mom, her Grandpa, and her to wherever the wedding will be, and I mean me personally.

wow this is so nice!!!!!!! i love the sea.... if your house is like that, you can't possibly make your own house a honeymoon place!! get married in cinnamon bay and then fly to paris for honeymoon.
