Get rid of a scar that I have on my stomach/abdominal area? Its a really noticable one and I am sort of self consicious about it. I know that people know that I have it, it's just that no one has asked me about it,and I wonder if they think I was like probbed by some hacksaw or something. Well, its not THAT bad, but I'm bothered by it. And if there is no real way to "get rid of it" then what is a way to make it less noticable? Because it isn't one of those scars that people might think it's a birthmark, but it could possibly be a scar.
Uhm I know they have creams for it. You should ask your doctor. I know about scars from C sections having kids being born, seem to stay. My mother didn't have any but my friend does. So hmm, she talked to her doctor. I don't think over-the-counter things will do that. But some scars wont leave. Like a stretch mark wont ever go away. Believe me : [, its because it tears your dermis, which is the "inside" layer on your skin, like when you get a cut, that just bleeds and it heals fine, it was only your epidermis, if it scars then it was your dermis.
I never knew you had a scar, why didn't you tell me?
mederma or whatever that stuff is might help, I'm not sure.

How did you get it, did you have a C section, or did you just decide to be all EMO and get yourself?
y'know the cut I got on my arm is already ahlfway healed
erik....I don't LIKE IT when people gawk at it. Its when I catch people staring at it and they pretty much size me up and decide on their own that I am a cutter or whatever.
No I didn't have a c-section. I am a virgin...(thats my own fault)
But thats a different subject

I got it from an operation. The operation was necessary so that I wouldn't DIE.
oh gee,that's a great story. My scars worse because evrytime I raise my head and look up, everyone not only sees a scar, but a large lump protruding from my neck.
Do you have any Idea how embarrasing it is to be laying down, looking at the sky in a park, then all of a sudden, some little kid asks if I swallowed a golf ball, then they cut it out, and then swallowed another one

If you go to your doctor and ask them for Oily cream, they can give it to you on prescription. Ive used it on my arms for about 2 years and although it doesnt make the scar 'disappear' it really does help to fade it quite substantially. You can also take vitamins, I think I took evening primrose oil. But you should ask your doctor first lol. I dont know where youre from but if you live in England I'm assuming youve seen commercials for "Bio oil" which is made for stretch marks during pregnancy, but I've heard many people who take similar things and rave about the results
