What I can think about comes from both mind power, and just plain making it appear not so obvious.
Right now your hormone levels could be high, so dealing with a constant sex drive that gives you an erection all day might be hard to change. As you get older, you can manage it more. That is the main reason why teens that are capable of sex, aren't all ready to actually have sex yet.
