what is the best way to simulate the prostate solo?
I've heard that it feels great, but everytime I try to find my prostate, it doesn't want to feel good. I don't know if I'm looking the wrong way or if I'm not far enough in the anus, or what...

It may feel great but unless you are well experienced, it is too much of a risk. Prostate gland shouldn't be messed around with, if you make mistakes you could end up infecting your urinary tract.
