Why do you want to become asexual? That makes no sense at all. Enjoy your sex drive, embrace it. It's part of you and no matter how hard you try, you can't change it. Just learn to accept it, everyone does it, it's completely natural. I went through a phase myself around the time I started masturbating at 10-12, where I thought it was perverted and gross. But I learnt that it was normal, and it's really hard to stop masturbating, bearing in mind that at our age we have an insane libido and hormones.

What your trying to do is futile and pointless, just enjoy it, you a pretty much depriving yourself of fun, due to his stupid notion you have in your head.

To answer why I want to become asexual- I suffer from involuntary celibacy. It'd be hard for me to attract anyone...and I don't want to spend the rest of my life worrying about not having sex/dying a virgin. Being asexual would mean that I have no sex drive and therefore wouldn't be worried about it all that much. And although I couldn't just turn asexual- there ARE ways I could eliminate my sex drive but it'd be kindy risky. :/

And I'm going to say it now, your not going to be able to destroy your sex drive. And you would have to be fucking insane to contemplate self castration, and if you are, I recommend seeing a mental health professional as you are a risk to your own health.

I kinda figured. But actually, I have been considering chemical castration ever since I broke up with my ex...it seems far less dangerous than regular castration. And yeah...I'd NEVER do it myself though some days I keep thinking about just taking a blade and chopping them off. But that would probably be suicide because I'd bleed to death. Regular castration=no, because that would mean I would have the voice of Justin Bieber.

And I don't think you can just 'become' asexual. It's more of a change of mindsets, you have to realize and accept that you don't desire anything sexual whatsoever, and not act upon these urges.

And well, I'm desperately trying to. I'm trying to quit masterbating and not think of anything sexual. But I can't resist the urges at times .

The easiest thing you can do is just keep yourself occupied whenever you feel an urge. Play music, play games, go and eat something, whatever. Just don't touch your dick.
And believe me, it's much more manageable after about 10 days.

That whole involuntarily celibate thing, are you saying that you think people aren't attracted to you? That's what I think, and it just means you're a little insecure. There's no need to go through all of this, you're going through a phase that all teens go thru. You feel really insecure and have bad thoughts about it. And the fact that you were in a relationship means that someone was attracted to you, not to mention people who might have crushes on you, even your friends, they're attracted to you, maybe not sexually but they are attracted to you as a person, that's why they're your friends. And you cant make yourself asexual, its impossible. You have to be born that way. I really think you should speak to your parents or an adult at school or your doctor. Don't do anything drastic.

OP, by all means, listen to music, play games, have a snack. But like I already said, frequent masturbation isn't a problem unless it starts to preclude everything else in your life. Keep doing it and don't worry about it.

Not masturbating (for guys, anyway) isn't good for your prostate and will cause you to have wet dreams consisting of very foul, sticky and rancid semen. Regular orgasms are believed to help lower blood pressure, reduce stress and even combat depression.

Also, not masturbating won't help you become asexual, it'll just cause you to become even more sexually frustrated than you already are. Asexuality isn't something you can just "choose" to be (or train yourself to become) just like people can't/don't choose to be straight or gay.
