Then she goes on to state that she wants me to be put on birth control so that I am safe when we have sex and she doesn't want me pregnant.

So I'm getting birth control soon.

I'm kinda excited. Because thats the only reason why I haven't had sex yet. I wanted to make sure I was safe. And now I will be.

I am going to ask my doctor about Yaz. That sounds like the best one for me.

The doctor will usually prescribe a bc that is covered by your insurance. I just told him I wanted the pill, instead of the shot...etc and he prescribed me one, that was rather generic but it's all the same to me.

FYI: The rythym method isn't that reliable either, because a woman can pregnant at pretty much anytime, not just when she's most fertile. So at least the OP is choosing a safer method yet. Birth Control. Yet, that isn't 100% either so at least she's being safer.

Did I ever say that? No. But that is really the safest method, I mean seriously think about it. With bc, you can still get pregnant and get STD's. Condoms break and all these little methods: Pull out and rhythm, etc.; are not 100% either. If you aren't going to be serious, then don't laugh at my post.
