I've been on the birth control for about four months.
My boyfriend and I have been using the 'pull-out' method
to stay safe (we gave up on condoms long ago) and I
was wondering if any knew whether or not it was safe
for him to you know.. not pull out. Without a condom.
I know Birth Control is only 99.99% effective on preventing
pregnancy, so it's never 'completely safe'. But am I protected now?
Re: A question about the pill and when it's 'safe'
You're as safe as you can be with bc pills if he cums inside of you, just as long as you take your pills correctly, the amount of time you've been on them doesn't really matter. I know with my pills they become effective after the first week of use, so I imagine it would be the same with yours.
Re: A question about the pill and when it's 'safe'
Yea, like you said, the pill is ONLY 99.99% effective against pregnancy. However it does nothing against STDs and I'm assuming thats not a problem. Not trying to be the voice of reason because I always hate ending up being that voice but just as long as you know where his penis has been.
Re: A question about the pill and when it's 'safe'
Yea and not to mention the pull out method just seems to take away from the whole experience...it kind of forces the moment to end. As soon as he is out it's over, or so i feel.
Re: A question about the pill and when it's 'safe'
If you're taking your pills correctly and without misses or errors, then you are 'safe' now. Four months is a long period, you could have sex with your boyfriend safely after the first four weeks of initiating the birth control pill.
