No one should tell anyone what they can or cannot do with their body. |

And to people saying it's murder, that's not true. Not unless you're doing in the later stages, which is NOT when abortions are SUPPOSED to be done. |

but you have to be responsable about it; do everything you can in birth control, watch your cycle, see if there's away you can find a birth mother or adoption clinic, morning-after pill...
abortion is the very very last resort, but it's just good to have there, just in case. |

This can vary upon your religious beliefs, as well as what you define 'abortion' as. Personally, I believe that a fetus is not a human being and belongs to the mother, and she should always have a choice of whether she wants to have a baby or not. Now, protection should be used at all times to prevent pregnancy first, but if a mistake is made... forcing a mother to give birth to an unwanted child is too great a price to pay. There are several circumstances where not having the child is in the best interest of both the mother, father, as well as the unborn child. |

All the unwanted munchkins are set loose in a giant terrarium. Nature will eliminate the weak ones. The strong will survive and be put to work in mines, etc. until they pay the government back for the cost of raising them. Then they are set free to live like normal, lovable people.
Pro-choice- don't have to raise no kids = happy.
Pro-life- no murder by people, just nature taking its course = happy.
Pro-murder- no babies killed = sad. But if the Hobo Lottery system is implemented, they can be taken care of as well. |

I wouldn't categorize my beliefs to one particular option all together.
The only way I see abortion to be fit is if the mother is going to be in a life threatening situation during the pregnancy.
Other than that, if you have sex, deal with it. You made the decision, don't make the fetus and upcoming baby pay for it.
As for rape, while it is extremely hard on the mother, there is always adoption.
I don't buy the whole, "the baby will grow up to be a bloodsucking rapist like his father," either. Quote:

As for the latter, bacteria do not have human DNA, nor will they grow into a fully functional adult. They're a single-celled prokaryote, highly different from mutlicelled eukaryotes that a fetus contains.

I really don't know... but I'm a female and if someone raped me I would get an abortion. It wasnt my clumsiness or anything. If it was my mistake I would not get an abortion. But then there are many people who have NO means of having a baby and dont have the money to take care for one and they think abortion is the right way. I know many of you think then, well adoption? There are many kids who never get adopted and live their life in those agency with no one who love them...
Its a sticky situation... but I would make it a choice for the mear fact that there are so many exceptions. |
