Periods Shock-Girls
What was your first period liek 4 you and when did it happen. For me I'd just got up and I was gonna be late 4 school if I didn't hurry up so I rushed about and that was when I noticed. So I called Mom and she put some spare underwear and some pads in my bag. SOOOO glad I realised and was late 4 school instead of being on time to school and being in a sticky situation. It came as quite a shock 2 me I couldn't believe it. Especially as I was thinking and dreaming about it happening the next day.

Re: Periods Shock-Girls
i was 11 and i was at my cousins house. i woke up at 7 with a bad stomach ache but nothing happened. then when i woke up again around 10-11 and went to the bathroom, still in pain, and saw blood. i called my mum but she was going out and she ignored me, so i improvised by using like a whole roll of tissue as a pad [i knew what pads were and there was a billion in the cupboard but i didnt know how to use them] and then walked around like i had a wedgie all day, still in really bad pain. eventually, my cousin told my sister i had a stomach ache and i was being boring, and she asked me if i had back pains and leg pains aswell. i said yeah, so she gave me a crushed up paracetamol in water [ew] and then my mum asked me why i didnt tell her, and i said 'well i was gonna but you were in such a rush' and she said 'ok heres some pads for you' and that was about it.

Re: Periods Shock-Girls
I was around the age of ten. I knew it was coming because I was maturing more than most girls my age. One day I was outside jumping on my trampoline when sharp pains striked me through the lower part of my body. I went into the bathroom and saw brown spots on my thong. It was old blood from my vagina. It then sat there as blood rushed into the toilet. I started using pads for like a few months and switched to tampons. It was a easy experience for me and a good one.

Re: Periods Shock-Girls
i was like 12.. i was camping with my dad, stepmom (not at the time tho), & my sister... my sister was off doin somethin.. & my stepmom & i were sittin down eating with a bunch of friends around a campfire for breakfast, & i had to pee, so i went in & it was all brownish-red.. so i ran & told my stepmom that i think i started, she asked me if i was sure, i said well i think so.. so i checked again & sure enough i had... so my sister had some liners, but we had to drive all the way to town with some of our friends too.. (embarrassing) my sister made me get them.. & even worse this really hot guy was the cashier....GRRR... & then we get back & my dad's friend said something about me finally turning into a woman.... VERY EMBARASSING... everyone knew...

Re: Periods Shock-Girls
I was eleven and woke up with blood in my underpants but it was brownish so I thought I had an accident.. Then I went to my grandmothers house for the day and then I saw blood so I knew that i had gotten it (2 years of sex ed prior kinda prepared me for that) and she made me show her my underwear, and then sent me to rite aid for pads... I was sooo embarrassed buying them

Re: Periods Shock-Girls
Woke up, ate breakfast, got up to use the bathroom and felt sharp pains in my back. Sat on the toilet, pulled my pants down and saw old blood all over my them. Soon after, I pulled off my underwear and noticed the same thing. I called my mom into the bathroom with me, she ran to her bathroom and got some pads. Then we went out to the store to stock up on some more.
edit: It was 8 days before my 12th birthday.

Re: Periods Shock-Girls
I was about 12 or 13, and I woke up and went to the toilet and realised I was bleeding, and for some reason I was like "noo this isn't my period" and for some strange reason I just ignored it thnking it would go away!
...But it didn't obviously! In school I put loadsa tissues in my pants n went on with ma day! I was really looking forward to going home so I could find a pad or something but when my mum came to pick me up from school she was like "LETS GO BLUEWATER" (bluewater is the huge shopping center about an hour away from my house- its like, the biggest in europe or something) and yeah I went there and when I went to the toilet there was a huge mess but luckily it didnt get on my skirt!
When I went home before bed I put a pad on but the next morning there was blood everywhere!!! So I had to tell mum!
The end.

Periods: Wasn't that enough?
Shock: Isn't it obvious yet?
Girls: It says 'Girls', not 'Guys'.
And hey, now atleast you know how much stuff girls have to go through to be able to have your kids. =].
