Are there any side effects of swallowing semen? Last night I gave my boyfriend head for the first time and I swallowed semen. Immediately after I had a little bit of a stomach ache. When I went to bed that night I got a fever of 101 and couldnt sleep all night.
It's now the next day and I have a slight fever lingering. My boyfriend is in perfect health. I have no other symptoms: no sore throat, no stuffy nose, which makes me think cant be the flu or something. Could the two be related and could I be affected with side effects of swallowing semen? |

Yeh its a coincidence. It can give you a belly ache if done on an empty stomach. But its actually good for you, its a 1/3 of your daily calcium allowance

There are no side effects of swallowing semen, unless of course you are allergic, which is pretty rare. It's just a coincidence.

I'm sure it's just a coincidence and nothing to worry about. The big test will be when you do it again, because if it happens again, then maybe there is something wrong. There are a small number of people who have an allergy to sperm, so it's always a slim chance. But it is very rare

Swallowing is actually good for you, there are no bad side effects that come from it except if the guy has an STD. Cum actually has a lot of calcium in it, and there are actually cook books filled with recipes that use semen (and no, i am not bullshitting you).

if he's in perfect health (no STD's or Flu etc..) then the 2 aren't related. Its highly unlikely that you're allergic to him, and it isn't the sperm its more the proteins in it...so if you don't digest it it shouldn't affect you...in other words if it keeps happening just don't swallow.
Also if it were an allergic reaction it wouldn't cause a fever, the symptoms would be more localised, i.e throat or mouth (symptoms would include itching, maybe burning or swelling). With a small chance of forced breathing, or hives...
So as i said before, i'm pretty sure its not related, just get yourself checked out and see if you're coming down with a flu or something...if you have one you don't wanna give it to your bf  | |
