an orgasm is a spike in sexual pleasure. Theres a difference between building up in sexual pleasure, having a climax, and havin an orgasm.

the build up is where you constanty feel very very very good.
a climax is the peak of that build up
and orgasm is a spike in that build up, where the pleasure fills your entire body and you feel about 100 times better than the build up.

ok there are nerve ending in the vagina/ penis/ asshole. this causes of feeling of euphoria, when something is rubbing them. now if you over stimulate a certain area you orgasm in wich the male/female ejaculates. an orgasm is a more powerful form of the pleasure you feel during the sex. but it is possible not to feel pleasure at all as emotions do play a part in all of this.

The 'feel good' phase rises to climax (or orgasm) where it feels 'really good' and ends up. Girls get orgasm yes, but unlike guys they don't ejaculate. They keep releasing fluids all through sex if they are aroused, and end up a bit more when in orgasm.
