loss of sex drive...

i was depressed for about a year. and towards the end of it i started to lose my sex drive and before long i had next to no interest whatsoever in sex. i havent felt depressed in about 2 or 3 months so im pretty sure im not depressed but my sex drive is still nowhere near what it used to be. im a 16 year old boy, it should be the only thing i think about. does anyone have any suggestions whatsoever as to what i can do to regain it? its hurting my gf's feelings...and theres no one i can go to, any adult will just tell me i shouldnt be having sex.

Wow, i have this same problem. I suffer from not being able to turn on and finish..
Its so frustrating, and i think your girlfriend should be understanding about it. Just like how my boyfriend is.

This is a problem. Its not your body to be exact, its more like a mental block...
Before being sexual with your girlfriend you need to be sexual with yourself and be patient...

It sucks i totally feel how youre feeling.

see your doctor if you were on anti depresents they can affect your sex drive

I experienced a similar thing before i met my [now ex] girlfriend.

I lost a friend to cancer, and 2 family members, within the space of a year, which left me feeling pretty low. And thus, i had no sex drive.

Then i met my [ex] girlfriend, who is unbelievably attractive, and i thought i'd never stand a chance with. I almost ruined it by not seeming interested and not telling her why.
Once i'd explained it to her, we just gradually worked our way into having a steady sexual relationship, which lasted for the 8 months we were together.

Now, i'm pretty average when it comes to a sex drive. It's not ALL i think about, but i do think about it.

I'm 19 by the way.

i can finish, i can get hard, its just its hard for me to get turned on...and i never think about sex. i was never on any anti depressants

Maybe you cant get turned on because you dont think about sex..
This is because of your medication. Maybe see the doc......

i never took any medication! i dont and never did for my depression, or any other health issues

maybe try watch some every night, before you go to bed even if it dosent get you that excited and when you go to bed just think about it
