I know it doesn't sound like this post fits in with the topic, but bear with me here.

For all of you finding yourself, discovering or experimenting with your sexuality, being persecuted for being yourself, getting teased or ridiculed for your sexual preference or how you like to dress, talk, or act... this is for you.

My question is this: have any of you turned to art for comfort, expression, as a means for release, as something to turn to when you have nothing else, et cetera?

I want to hear stories about your life- what you've been through- and art.
