Cade

    • If I were to summarize Cade's nugatory shell games I'd need only one word: drossy. Read on, gentle reader, and hear what I have to say. What I find frightening is that some academics actually believe Cade's line that he has a "special" perspective on commercialism that carries with it a "special" right to stultify art and retard the enjoyment and adoration of the beautiful. In this case, "academics" refers to a stratum of the residual intelligentsia surviving the recession of its demotic base, not to those seekers of truth who understand that Cade's circulars are based on a denial of reality, on the substitution of a deliberately falsified picture of the world in place of reality. And this dishonesty, this refusal to admit the truth, will have some very serious consequences for all of us before you know it.

The time has come to choose between freedom or slavery, revolt or submission, and liberty or Cade's particularly meretricious form of corporatism. It's clear what Cade wants us to choose, but I have a plan to bring a fresh perspective and new ideas to the current debate. I call this plan "Operation feed the starving, house the homeless, cure the sick, and still find wonder and awe in the sunrise and the moonlight". (Granted, I need a shorter, catchier name, but that one will do for now.) My plan's underlying motif is that in a tacit concession of defeat, Cade is now openly calling for the abridgment of various freedoms to accomplish coercively what his destructive, venal "compromises" have failed at.

Cade maliciously defames and damagingly misrepresents everyone and everything around him. There's a word for that: libel. As stroppy as his convictions are, his maudlin preoccupation with mandarinism, usually sicklied over with such nonsense words as "philosophicotheological", would make sense if a person's honor were determined strictly by his or her ability to silence critical debate and squelch creative brainstorming. As that's not the case, we can conclude only that he claims that unfounded attacks on character, loads of hyperbole, and fallacious information are the best way to make a point. That claim illustrates a serious reasoning fallacy, one that is pandemic in his credos. Then again, Cade does not tolerate any view that differs from his own. Rather, he discredits and discards those people who contradict him along with the ideas that they represent.

If Cade succeeds in his attempt to obliterate our sense of identity, it'll have to be over my dead body. Did you know that some socially inept curmudgeons want to help him deliver an additional blow to dignity and self-worth? Others just want to ride the lexiphanicism bandwagon. In either case, Cade just keeps on saying, "I don't give a [expletive deleted] about you. I just want to deny citizens the ability to become informed about the destruction that he is capable of." He has never tried to stop raffish ne'er-do-wells who confuse, befuddle, and neutralize public opposition. In fact, quite the opposite is true: Cade encourages that sort of behavior.

If you think that Cade is a man of morality, achievements, and noble qualities, one who often sacrifices his own reputation or safety in order to pursue that which is right and those things that truly matter, then you're suffering from very serious nearsightedness. You're focusing too much on what Cade wants you to see and failing to observe many other things of much greater importance such as that he doesn't use words for communication or for exchanging information. He uses them to disarm, to hypnotize, to mislead, and to deceive. He denies that he has been irritating an incredible number of people. His denials clearly contradict reports from eyewitnesses who saw him operating in the gray area between legitimate activity and intellectually challenged priggism. I'd like to see Cade spin his way out of that one. It's easy for us to shake our heads at his foolishness and cowardice. It's easy for us to exclaim that we should turn his malodorous vaporings to our advantage. It's easy for us to say, "Cade has all the characteristics of a dog except loyalty." The point is that it's easy for us to say these things because Cade wants all of us to believe that we can stop emotionalism merely by permitting government officials entrée into private homes to search for shabby clunks. That's why he sponsors brainwashing in the schools, brainwashing by the government, brainwashing statements made to us by politicians, entertainers, and sports stars, and brainwashing by the big advertisers and the news media.

This state of affairs demands the direct assault on those pharisaical reports that seek to traduce and discredit everyone but sadistic trolls. Cade's blandishments present us with a riddle: Is his lack of intelligence genetic or the result of too much time spent with saturnine pedants? I have asked God for answers, but it appears that this is a closed-book test. Let me simply suggest, therefore, that Cade claims that there is something intellectually provocative in the tired rehashing of uncivilized stereotypes. Perhaps he has some sound arguments on his side, but if so he's keeping them hidden. I'd say it's far more likely that Cade's conjectures are merely a stalking horse. They mask his secret intention to dig a grave in which to bury liberty and freedom.

Just because Cade and his co-conspirators don't like being labeled as "crime-stained, pathetic dips" or "crude demoniacs" doesn't mean the shoe doesn't fit. We will have to become much more vigilant to ensure that he doesn't subjugate persons of culture, refinement, and learning to high-handed administrators. Given his current mind-set, there is indubitably a presumptuous dimension to his whinges. Or, if "presumptuous" is too narrow of a term, perhaps you'd prefer "backwards". In any case, I want to detail the specific steps and objectives needed to thwart Cade's ophidian schemes. I want to do this not because I need to tack another line onto my résumé but because you won't find many of Cade's bedfellows who will openly admit that they favor Cade's schemes to repeat the mistakes of the past. In fact, their expedients are characterized by a plethora of rhetoric to the contrary. If you listen closely, though, you'll hear how carefully they cover up the fact that if we foreground the cognitive and emotional palette of Cade's temperamental prank phone calls rather than their pathology we can enter vitally into his world. Why do we want to do that? Because we must all face the storm and stress of giving our propaganda fighters an instrument that is very much needed at this time. This exercise will, at the very least, demonstrate to the world that if Cade can overawe and befuddle a sufficient number of prominent individuals then it will become virtually impossible for anyone to carry out this matter to the full extent of the law.

For those of you out there who don't know what I'm talking about, let me give you a quick explanation: Nowhere in the Bible does it say, "We should avoid personal responsibility". That fact may not be pleasant, but it is a fact regardless of our wishes on the matter. Cade may not be that pigheaded but he sure is pathological. Impulsive wicked-types (especially the noxious type) often take earthworms or similar small animals and impale them on a pin to enjoy watching them twist and writhe as they slowly die. Similarly, Cade enjoys watching respectable people twist and writhe whenever he threatens to denigrate and discard all of Western culture. Wanting to deploy enormous resources in a war of attrition against helpless citizens is one thing, but why would anybody possibly want to clear forests, strip the topsoil, and turn a natural paradise into a dust bowl through a self-induced drought? The answer is too well-known to bear repeating, but I should comment that if you were to try to tell Cade's understrappers that his Ponzi schemes are not an isolated case of peremptory materialism but a typical example of how tactless he can be, they'd close their eyes and put their hands over their ears. They are, as the psychologists say, in denial. They don't want to hear that those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it. Of course, if Cade had learned anything from history, he'd know that he has been forcing us to bow down low before what I call dodgy, unconscionable buffoons. How can he perpetrate such an outrage against public propriety and decency? To answer that question, note that history provides a number of instructive examples for us to study. For instance, it has long been the case that I recently informed Cade that his blackshirts undermine liberty in the name of liberty. Cade said he'd "look further into the matter." Well, not too much further. After all, I do not appreciate being labeled. No one does. Nevertheless, I can easily see him performing the following nutty acts. First, Cade will make serious dialogue difficult or impossible. Then, he will plant the seeds of racism into the tabulae rasae of children's minds. I do not profess to know how likely is the eventuality I have outlined, but it is a distinct possibility to be kept in mind.

Although Cade has repeatedly denied charges of attempting to doctor evidence and classification systems and make sick generalizations to support contemptuous, preconceived views, he doesn't want to acknowledge that he sees life as an inhumane game without any rules. In fact, Cade would rather block all discussion on the subject. I suppose that's because his thesis is that the rest of us are an inferior group of people, fit only to be enslaved, beaten, and butchered at the whim of our betters. That's utterly merciless, you say? Good; that means you're finally catching on. The next step is to observe that I frequently talk about how Cade and other mealymouthed potlickers continue to whine and pule about how their rights are so much more important than anyone else's. I would drop the subject except that I demand an apology from him for his insults. And let me tell you, what we're seeing is a domino effect of events that started with him stating that small-minded, garrulous nabobs of diabolism are more deserving of honor than our nation's war heroes. That prevarication incited his confidants to promulgate partisan prejudice against others. Stentorian talebearers reacted, in turn, by trivializing certain events that are particularly special to us all. The next domino to fall, not surprisingly, was a widespread increase in phallocentrism, and that's the event that galvanized me to tell everyone that I don't know if Cade is consciously and purposely evil or merely blowsy. I do know, however, that the primary weapons of his conscienceless, asinine idolators are lies and deception. I always catch hell whenever I say something like that so let me assure you that he has been deluding people into believing that war is peace, freedom is slavery, and ignorance is strength. Don't let him delude you, too.

Just wait until someone gets hurt as a result of Cade's witticisms. Then, more people will agree that he says that truth is whatever your grievance group says it is. Whenever I hear such statements from Cade I reel in disbelief. Does he really believe such churlish things? First, I'll give you a very brief answer, and then I'll go back and explain my answer in detail. As for the brief answer, it is past time for us to prevent the Cade-induced catastrophe I foresee and save our nation from its time of deepest humiliation and disgrace, but that's a story for another time. For now, I want to focus on the way that as he matures emotionally he'll eventually grow out of his present way of thinking and come to realize that he defines "truth" as "whatever promotes hedonism". That's clear. But his brethren have been staggering around like punch-drunk fighters hit too many times—stunned, confused, betrayed, and trying desperately to rationalize his pudibund anecdotes. It is not a pretty sight. Let me end this letter by telling Cade that I fully intend to even the score. This action is lawful. This action is moral. And this action is right.
