and i will honestly admit, thats kinda how i felt when i first heard about this
so i don't blame you
but do you have anything valid to base your opinion on?
have you watched the show for yourself, with AN OPEN MIND,
i first heard about it as a freshmen, thought it was really weird, but i didn't judge
one year later (a few months ago) my friend and teammate (we are on swimteam) started playing pony music alot after practice......anyway, it got me really curious, i ended up reallizing that there was a freaking massive fanbase and a shitload of fanconntent (most noteably music, art, and fanfics)
so, i relented, and decided i'd watch one episode of the show

I WATCHED THE ENTIREFIRST SEASON IN ONE NIGHT
the show is damn good and the community that has grown around it is amazing
also, you say we aren't manly or that we are all gay? go look up 'the manliest brony in the world' on youtube
please actually watch the show so that you have somthing to base your judgement off of other than what little background knowledge you have

not mad about it, it's a damn good show, and i like it, but more than anything, i like the fandom, the community is awesome, we have amazing people and have made some amazing original music and animation, some pretty amazing fanfics (along with quite a few very.....disturbing ones admittedly) and LOTS AND LOTS AND LOTS OF FANART, just go on deviantart or the art section of equestria daily, heck, just google mlp:fim fanart
you cannot deny our power and influence, nor that if there are this many people there must be a reason for it
