I recently switched to Chrome from Firefox. Firefox is a good browser, but I had two problems with it. Both IE and Chrome ask for permission before running Java, while Firefox simply runs it. With many Java vulnerabilities these days, I did not want to risk getting infected because I ran Java unknowingly. Second, for some reason, Firefox was not displaying https images on http webpages.
Firefox only runs Java automatically if you selected an option prior for it to always automatically run Java and Firefox not running hhtps images is again a personal preference that should be able to be resolved.
I personally view comparing the differences between Chrome and Firefox is like comparing the differences in graphics between the PS3 and Xbox360, PS3 has better graphics because it has Blue ray, but the difference is almost invisible.
