I really want to get my belly button piercing, just a stud, nothing dangling or extravagant, but some people say it's really trashy... What do you think?
Belly Button Piercings - Cute or trashy?
-

hey! um my friend has like 3 piercings on her ear each and wants to get a belly button piercing this summer! no jk! personally, if its like a little stud, i dnt think tht its bad or like u said trashy. but ull have to be careful while showering and u cnt bend over and ull have to be careful with it in general. but ya, if ur parents let u, go for it.

i find them incredibly cute c: and people say they're trashy just because of the way some girls wear them, but most of the time they look fine[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

i am gernerally not into piercings. Ear piercings I dont have anything against. And a belly button can be sexy looking aswell Just not on other place
And as Ashley says its all about the girl and how she wears it. -
Piercings, not my cup of tea. But hey, it looks very attractive so i'm sure it won't be as bad. [SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I have one for a few years already and still like it.
If you want it then just do it, don't worry that much about what others say. It's the missing that will kill you,

"cute" isnt the word i would use to describe them..... that is what i would use to describe a puppy lol...
i was thinking about getting one too  -
They can be sexy and attractive, for sure. Especially if they shine, makes girls look very classy in my opinion. Great product to clean your jewelry and add sparkle to your collection?

oh yeah, i like them but not on me  -
Used ta date a girl who had one... kinda sucked when she first got it cos we couldn't do nothin' cos apperently they're really painful but, it was SO worth it cos it looked DAMN GUD!
-
I don't see how a piercing could be trashy its girls who wear them that are trashy. But yeah I like themLook at yourself in the mirror and tell me what a man is without pride, tell me what a man is without fire in his eyes.

In my opinion, they can be pretty dang hot. But, if you do get one, one piece of advice. Do NOT let it get infected. One girl I know got one and had it get infected, and she wouldn't shut up about how it smelled bad. And everyone could smell it, it was nasty..so, on that note, keep it clean and you're good!

:o thats just nasty xd
well the best thing to keep the piercing and not let it get infected is not touch it, not clean it with soup things salt water or whatever they always tell everyone. Since that will just make it worse, it just needs time to heal.
If you broke a leg you wouldnt put stuff on it and try to move it, walk with it and such right so same for woundsIt's the missing that will kill you,

Best method is the LITFA ("leave it the fuck alone") method, as my piercer would say! keep a close eye on it, make sure it's not migrating or rejecting. And don't think you're in the clear once it's healed, a fully healed belly piercing can spontaneously decide to start to reject or migrate— check it fairly often. Clean it a couple times a day with hot water and a bit of sea salt (not so much it dries it right out though!). No over-cleaning.
And yes, I have mine done and love it never had any big issues with it, save for the one time I had a small reaction to the metal claws holding the jewel on the bottom— wasn't painful, just extremely itchy. -
I think they're cute I was thinking about getting one myself actually.
-
i want a belly button piercing! i'm just afraid it would hurt
-
Doesn't hurt.
This is mine
-
Not trashy at all.
But I do suggest that if you get one, make sure that the jewelry you use is surgical grade steel. It'll make a world of difference since navel piercings have a habit of being rejected by the body.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
