What career do you want to pursue

I want to be a nurse... & work in the OR

I wanted to be a nurse and/or a programmer but I need to make money however I like technology a lot so maybe a robotic's engineer for medical robot's? I'm not sureTechnology is neither good nor bad, nor even neutral. Technology is one part of the complex of relationships that people form with each other and the world around them; it simply cannot be understood outside of that concept.

I'm honestly having the hardest time figuring out if I want to go back to working in the retirement home after Maternity leave, or continue studying for my life insurance and investments license and just work part time from home.
I LOVE my job, love my co-workers, love the residents, I find the heath field really interesting, but I also find finances and such really easy and fun to do, I could make my own hours, and I could still be a stay at home mom.

I kind of am being groomed for my future career right now. I plan on going into law enforcement, have wanted to since I was a little kid. I am, with the help of my uncle, a BM1, enlisting in the US Coast Guard next year, and planning on becoming a Boatswain's Mate once I strike E-4. The BM rating does the most law enforcement in the USCG enlisted corps, so I'll do stuff like being a boarding team member, tactical coxswain, port security, etc. I plan on doing a full 20 years in the USCG.
The plan is after those 20 years is to become a police officer, somewhere. I'd really like to become a CHP motorcycle officer, or a Rhode Island State Trooper, but it will come down to where I want to settle my family. I really like the idea of living in Southern California, either outside of Los Angeles or further east, near places like Hemet. Texas also sounds nice, because I've lived there most of my life, and the idea of being a Texas Ranger sounds cool.
So ultimately, I know I'm going to have a successful career in law enforcement, I'll just have to see what the future has in store for me, maybe I'll move back to where I live now and just be a local cop, who knows?17 / Jack of All Trades / Tacoma Police Department Explorer / Golfer
