I'm not broke yet, but I live on a tight budget. I don't work during the school year, but many people find part time jobs. I'm living at home during this summer because it's cheaper, and work 3 jobs to save up for next year.
It also doesn't hurt to apply for scholarships and bursaries, even if it's a long shot - you never know what you might get. If your college does any scientific research, sometimes they pay people a small amount for participating in studies; enough for a meal or two or to go out on the weekend.
Good advice! I already have a scholarship but when it comes to paying for books, supplies, etc I dont have a lot of money for it. I recently found a good online job but I guess we’ll see how that goes
