A Poem That ShatteredAngel22 and I Wrote (Eclipse)

    • A Poem That ShatteredAngel22 and I Wrote (Eclipse)

This is just a poem that Katie/ShatteredAngel22 and I ended up writing for fun. We'd love to hear what you think of it! We kinda took it as a piece about how we might fade from existence and be forgotten about when we eventually die.

      Eclipse:
The wind whistled joylessly into the midnight air as I gazed,
searching for the moon in a night of stars.
As I stared above, the moon was nowhere to be found.
      How could that be?
It's always shining so brightly in that direction.
Where it once lay stars now painted it's place.
      I got to thinking,
      where could it be?
      Did anyone miss it?
Or had nobody even noticed it was gone?
Was it's fate that it would become some memory
to be brought up when Mars and Jupiter needed a conversation starter?
Or would it be buried by the skies of space,
forever expanding with new moons and stars?
Was this a momentary retreat for the moon?
An opportunity to recover and come back shining radiantly?
      Yes, I thought to myself,
      It was just an eclipse.
When he's ready the moon will comeback rested and full of beauty.
"If you're sick of evil knocking on your door, throw up the love sign once and forever more"
