Im doing this on my phone so my grammers gonna suck. Ok, so im in 8th grade and have had a crush on this girl for a while. A friend of mine is the only person who knows, and I think I can get him to deliver a note to her. Im shy and cant talk to her. I cant think of anything but her. I want to write a letter detailing my feelings for her. I can, but I feel like it would be corny or desprate. Its complicated more by the fact that the other day, my friend was holding his drumsticks, and she grabbed them, and I said she touched his stick. She heard and I felt like the worlds biggest moron. I wish I could take it back. I need to know what to put in my letter. All of my feelings? Ask for her forgivness?

Short answer? Don't do it. It is corny, cliche, and quite honestly, uncomfortable for her. Have you ever even spoken (and I mean a REAL conversation) to this girl?

Get to know her, become good friends with her, let her warm up to you, then proper ask her out. None of this "love letter" stuff.

Meg's right... no love letters. They're corny and not a good way to start a relationship.
Now... to an established relationship... that's a different story. When you have a girlfriend, feel free to write the occasional love letter.- Ghukek -
If you really want to talk to her then do it. Girls like confidence. If you think she already has an interest in you then do this. If she has friends then approach them, tell the girl you like that you need to talk to her and then lead her away from her friends. Tell her that you've liked her for a while and you'd like to take her out somewhere this (input date). If she says yes, then you're in. If she says no then chances are she wouldn't have said yes at any other point too.

well a part of that is on you, confidence is key. walk yourself through the anxiety and realize that there is nothing really to fear. if she likes you then great, if she doesn't then oh well on to the next one.
but other than that i would suggest lifting weights for a testosterone boost or having a shot of whiskey to take the edge off. -
