YA? Sorry, I didn't get that. Can you elaborate a little bit more?"You use your heart as a weapon, and it hurts like Heaven."

YA means "Young Adult." You guys must not walk into book stores or libraries very often :p
Anyways, I think most YA stuff is trash but a good coming of age story is the novella "The Body" in Stephen King's "Different Seasons." -
Ooops. I just grab a book and read. I don't pay attention to that stuff. lol. But i'm reading life as a traitor, it is the best book, I have read so far. Well and The hunger games."As in heaven as on Earth, we've been dead since our birth" -Hollywood Undead

most YA books are trash about a vulnerable teenage girl who isn't completely in her skin and a quirky, attractive teenage boy saving her from some situation and them falling in love. it's like reading the same book over and over again.
but you should read by the time you read this, i'll be dead by julie anne peters. it was one of the better YA books i've read. trigger warning for suicide and shit.
the chosen one by carol lynch williams was also good, mostly because it actually had a plot that wasn't two people meeting, having some witty banter and falling in love. -

Young adult books... I guess that's what Harry Potter is classed as right?
I haven't really read these sorts of books for a good few years now but there are a few good ones.
Great Expectations is a good "coming of age" book but most people know how good of a book that is, same with Catcher in the Rye.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Meh that's your view but I love Charles Dickens and Great Expectations.
I prefer David Copperfield to Great Expectations however.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
