I met this new girl that I got along with pretty well. But all of my other friends that know her said she's a liar, a bad person, everyone really talks bad about her and most people don't like her. I can see why if their claims are true, that she lies and isn't a good friend or a good person, but none of that was shown to me by the girl herself. I don't know her for long, but I got close with her very quickly - now I pulled away because I don't plan on being a victim of her lies nor do I want people to think I'm the same as she is (which they could in case they see me being too close with her). I'm not sure what to do OR think. I know that even if some people were lying about her, it wouldn't be EVERYONE I asked. And again, it may be just a rumor, like, one person says it and then everyone repeats.
I'm lost. What would you do?
