I'm a gay 16 year old who lives in New Jersey. The crowd of LGBTQ is very limited in the part of NJ that I live... But the ones that are here are very much the bronzed and toned bodies. With the perfect bodies and the perfects. As much as I know that even they look so handsome on the outside doesn't mean they are perfect on the inside. I feel like gay guys in my area only look for the same totally ripped and skinny ones. SO that leaves me a little husky with real bad self esteem issues. I mean I am just looking for friends. Its so challenging now and days...
Stereotypes?

So, figuratively said: You see only those who are living in the light and not those who live in the shadow like you?
Maybe your eyes have to get used to the dark, so you can see those, who are more likely like you. -
Well being ripped and thin certainly is no stereotype for gay guys.
I prefer regular guys myself. Not feminine or the body builder type.
Just plain nice good guys with normal bodies and features.
