I have 4 friends that suffer from Social Anxiety (3 are pretty severe) and 5 that suffer from depression. What are somethings that I can do to help? Also what are some things that I should avoid doing, saying, or bringing up?

No, social anxiety is the name of it. They have all been diagnosed and they are all taking some form of treatment but I just need to know how I can be there for them. Also it isn't very polite to try to get views on your site when someone is trying to ask for advice.

I don't own Huffington post. I was just posting the link in case it helped. I just googled about it and the article I found looked detailed and helpful to me. So I shared just in case. I apologise for inconvenience.

I don't have an easy answer, but I do know that CBT therapy can greatly help people who suffer social anxiety. I suggest you ask your friend's parents, that is, if she is a minor, and see if they can fix her up to see a therapist in their town. A good therapist can develop a close friendship with their client. Therapy sessions are usually every fortnight depending on need. I had bereavement counselling for the loss of a child and prior to that, the loss of my mother. It really did help.
Sometimes the best memories people make, are new ones.

Hello, you especially have to stay up them, it is very important these people there, say themselves without need but sometimes to urge them to speak, to see a specialist, to call them the weekend.. That very hurts to see friends in this state there but it is so beautiful to see them getting better
